Macs Flying Off The Shelves, Says Apple
Here’s a piece of news that makes me rather happy. As a recent Mac convert I’m very happy to see that MacBooks, MacBook Pros and iMacs are flying out the door.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs has said he doesn’t worry as much about the fluctuations of the larger PC market because of Apple’s relatively small size. Gartner and IDC reported PC market share numbers on Wednesday, and overall shipment growth was only around 10 per cent worldwide. Apple’s 12 per cent shipment growth outpaced the market during what is considered the slowest quarter of the year.
This kind of momentum is great news and I’m sure will cause for some antacid to be doled out in the Redmond compound.
